Okay, so not so much play as work, but you get the idea...
I started a new job on Friday. Which is cool, cuz I applied for it on Tuesday, had an interview on Wednesday and got a call on Thursday asking me to come in hehe :)
Anyway, it's at a place called InTACT, which is like a sub-department of the Department of Finance (it's complicated). InTACT maintains around 60 websites for various government departments (or government-related organisations). Oh yeah, and I'm a web developer there now :D
My first day was really quite easy. Sam (my boss) showed me around (ohh my legs hurt), introduced me to everyone etc etc. Oh yeah, btw it's in that space-ship building thats across the road from the Woden Bus Interchange. This building is actually occupied by a couple of government departments and various companies (e.g. Fujitsu's on the 3rd floor). It's a huge building, separated into "modules" (what was I saying about space-ship like?).
Come to think of it, I didn't actually do any work yesterday. I sat around surfing the web for probably two or more hours, much of which was spent on IRC.
Looking foreward to Monday, should be interesting.
