Recently there have been so many examples of people embracing PC to the extreme. People have lost their sense of humor in exchange for trying their best not to possibly offend. Personally I think its hilarious, if you can't take a joke as a joke (if its obviously not meant in an offensive manner) then what's the point? Plus most of the PC terms are just pretentious.
Here's some of the best examples of PC Extremeness I've found:
- Thought Shower or Word Shower substituting for brainstorm so as not to offend those with brain disorders
- Baa Baa Black Sheep (the nursery rhyme) is now Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep
- Fanny and Dick in Enid Blyton novels have had their names changed to Franny and Rick
- Deferred Success as a euphemism for the word fail.
- Presbyterian Church (USA) decided to make the Holy trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) less offensive, proposals included: "Rainbow of Promise, Ark of Salvation, Dove of Peace", "Fire That Consumes, Sword That Divides and Storm That Melts Mountains" and "Giver, Gift and Giving

- Gas Station Attendent - petroleum transfer technician
- Homelessness - Mortgage-Free Living
- Housewife - domestic engineer
- Plagiarism - Previously Owned Prose
- Noddy no longer has Gollywog friends
- And finally changing the spelling of women to Womyn
