I don't know what has gotten into me but whenever I play certain mp3s or cd's now I just feel like "wow what a great sex song!".. weird i know! maybe i need to "get some" or something but i thought i'd share what i think are Top 20 Sex Songs, i'll give a reason for why i picked each song. if you've got any that you want to share.. go ahead!
20. Wylde Rattz (Ewan Mcgregor)- T.V. Eye
From the movie Velvet Goldmine. Ewan is lead singer of Wylde Rattz and in the part where he sings this song, he is shirtless, sweaty, breathing heavily, shaking gold glitter all over himself on a stage surrounded by fire. Just looking at him makes me want to go and lick my television screen *drool*
19. Ammonia - Little Death
An Aussie band with a cute lead singer. This song has people having sex on the beginning of it..but that isn't why it's good. The song is slow and sexy, with heavy parts in it. I learned in Literature in high school that "a little death" was a term for sex back when people like Shakespeare were around.
18. Garbage - Queer
Shirley Manson is a sex goddess. She oozes sex appeal and this was my first and favourite song by Garbage. The song is incredibly sexy, when I think of it, the lines at the end of the song always come to mind "i know what's good for you, i know you're dying to, i know what's good for you, i bet your're dying to.."
17. Massive Attack - Angel
I don't have a lot of Massive stuff in my collection but I like this song because I like the music. The music has a nice beat, slow and sensual. It'd be good to play once you've had a few drinks and feel like slowly stripping each other!
16. Groove Theory - Tell Me
I love the slow beat and the words to this. Just thinking along the lines of "tell me if you want me to" just conjures up hundreds of kinky thoughts to say to some lush boy.
15. Massive Attack - Protection
I like this song a lot. I like the words a lot and I love Tracey Thorn from Everything But The Girl vocals. The song title has nothing to do with protection in a sexual sense.
14. Mandalay - Beautiful (7" Canny Mix)
Every girl needs to be told she is beautiful, but this song does that for you. It's slow, with heady and sweet vocals with a really nice beat. Maybe you could hook up your Winamp visualisation plug-ins and chill out to this with the one you lurve.
13. Drill - What You Are
This is from the movie Empire Records. I don't recall it being played during the film but it is on the soundtrack. I always feel sexy when I listen to this song. The singer's vocals are moving and strong. There is a really heavy guitar riff that I kind of mentally block out, but the rest of the song is great.
12. Kylie Minogue - Breathe (Sash! Mix)
Who doesn't think Kylie Minogue is one hot chick?! She has a great body, is gorgeous and still has a great voice even though she is now 35! Her version of this song is slow.. very slow. I like this Sash! mix better as it has a good beat and the words are breathy, sexy & meaningful.
11. HIM - Wicked Game
This song doesn't need much explaining. Its a great cover of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game'. The guitar is heavy and makes your heart pound. The words are sexy and full of meaning. Ville Valo's vocals really do this song justice as I am not a fan of Chris Isaak. This song makes me want to find some sexy, arty, sensitive, tortured type, possibly with a piercing or tatt and ask if he fancies sleeping with me tonight!
10. Mazzy Star - Fade Into You
Mazzy Star is one of my favourite bands. Their singer Hope Sandoval has an amazing voice and I've always liked this song. It makes me think of slow dancing after a home-cooked candlelit dinner.. maybe followed by a tandem shower and an early night *wink*
09. Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns
This song is probably more in the Top 10 of this 20 not because it's especially sexy but because it reminds me of a personal experience. A boy I loved from the ages of 14-17 sang this to me at a party we were at..lines like "I wanna tell you that I love you.." really touched the heart of me then, and still do to this day.
08. Radiohead - High and Dry
Radiohead are a great band. This song is no exception. It has great words and is nice and slow. My favourite part to this song is the line "and I can't help the feeling, i could blow through the ceiling.." This reminds me of making out with boy from #9 above, all over his newly laid wooden kitchen floor while his parents were away.
07. Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should've Come Over
Jeff Buckley was a god of a man. His voice was so sensual and touching. The words to this song (apart from the first couple of lines about the funeral) are all the things that I wish I could find a man like. Sensitive and beautiful..
06. Monifah - Touch It
I don't need to say anything about this song except "do you really wanna touch it, do you really wanna fuck with me tonight? and if you know how i like it would you call my name and give it to me right?".. combined with a wicked R&B beat, this song belongs on this list!
05. Depeche Mode - In Your Room
This song is almost creepy. It's my favourite Depeche Mode song. It has extremely haunting vocals. It gets me thinking about role-playing, intense sex like when you first start having sex with a boyfriend (or friend?!) and you're willing and open to anything the other wants to try and it becomes almost mind-blowingly obsessive sex where you just can't stop having it and you want each other constantly. It reminds me of an experience I had with a guy, he only had to wrap his hand around my stomach and I'd just melt.
04. No Doubt - Hella Good
I love Gwen Stefani (but I love her husband more..mmm Gavin Rossdale). I love the funky, throbbing beat of this song. I just can't help thinking about sex whenever I hear her singing and panting heavily throughout this song. The words are pretty sexy too!
03. Portishead - Only You
Anyone that knows me well, knows that I love Portishead to death. They are like my number one band. Beth Gibbons' vocals are haunting, strained and hypnotic. When you're so in love with somebody, you feel like they are the only one for you and my interpretation of this song suggests how one person can make or break another so completely with their love.
02. Nine Inch Nails - Closer
You oughta be ashamed of yourself if you don't know this song! With a repeated line throughout of "I wanna fuck you like an animal"..this song was almost my number 1! Trent Reznor is god and I want his babies. The video to this song is second to none. How could you not want Trent shirtless, in black pvc pants with knee high lace-up Dr Martens, blindfolded, bound and gagged with black electrical tape, wriggling and writhing around, screaming about how he wants to feel you from the inside and how you get him closer to God?! This mental picture alone is instant-orgasm worthy!

I told you I love Portishead. Since I discovered Portishead, this song has always been my number one song to have sex to. I have always wanted to find the right guy and ask him if I can play this. I don't literally listen to the words because they are incredibly sad and I think they are about a war of some sort. I love the slowness, the haunting, sad vocals that make me want to be scooped up into a beautiful boy's arms. I envision slow dancing, bodies pressed close and lots of slow dreamy kisses and lots of slow, passionate, intense and mind-blowing sex. Hey, I can dream can't I??

Pendulum - Coma
"hug me till you drug me from me, kiss me until I'm in a coma"
and of course the opening line of "ever since I was born I've been trained to serve you".
You can't go past this song, there aren't too many distracting lyrics, it starts slow and works its way up to a peak and it's very ambient and calming.
Also I would suggest, Lovage - Sex (I'm A). This song gets credit for being about sex. It has a sexy female vocalist and a, well I'm a guy so I dont truly know how this dude fairs in the sexual vocals department, decent male vocalist and like Coma it also works its way to a peak with both singers moaning and panting louder and louder ...and eventually they just stop, but you get the idea of what it would sound like.
And I'm very dissapointed no-one has mentioned Khia - My Neck, My Back yet :p

Jerry: Consider this.. Why do they play Justin Timberlake at so many clubs? (Namely Shooters, Quattro and Southpacs)...

Well while none of the canberra clubs are particuarly representative of a good club, shooters and southpackers are still considered by many the lowest of the bunch. Great drink prices of course, but not the sort of place I would stick around for the music or atmosphere.
Secondly, the music is there for the underrage female types that places like Shooters attract. It isn't all bad though, it brings the young niave girls and in turn, this brings the manipulative, slightly older guys, not that I know any :p
Just because it's popular doesn't make it right, and what's right isn't always popular.
Uhh I've been drinking a little so I don't know if I made it clear but my first point is that Shooters and Southpackers are not representative of good clubs and therefore don't defend your pop music choice.
Common People, 'Salt n Pepper - Shoop' hasn't even made an appearance in there, plus I dont' see Magic Stick in the list.

Major kudos to you for including Portishead in the list. However, you left out the one song that packs the sensual punch the size of Texas...Glory Box. As much as I love Roads, it reminds me of driving on a rainy, fall afternoon with a cup of coffee. PBS or BBC, forgot which one, played Roads to the images of the 9/11 WTC attack...completely ruins the intimacy factor.

I friggin love deftones and I often put them on if i'm in the mood. Especially the white pony album- Rx Queen, Change in the house of flies and knife party. Hot as Hell! (I usually don't cut anyone's lunch but, halaku dear, if ure b.f. doesn't dig the def, its not gonna work out!). Also, other songs of their's like mascara, lucky you and my own summer (their version of To Have and to Hold by Depeche Mode is pretty sexy too).
I think NIN's 'closer' is kinda hot, but I think there's sexier songs on the album Pretty Hate Machine.
Also I seem to remember some very sexy times had to the musical stylings of Marilyn Manson...! I guess its the kick out of being hedonistic. His version of 'I put a spell on you' is also damn sexy. You can hear it in the David Lynch film 'Lost Highway.'
